Unlike our other jewellery, these aren’t directly inspired by specific historical artefacts or sites. These carvings come purely from the imagination.
GWƗRÐ is made of Langdale Greenstone from Cumbria, used for stone tools since the Mesolithic and subsequently a very popular material for polished axe heads during the Neolithic (late Stone Age).
This necklace is complete with handmade, naturally stabilised hemp rope cordage and a 5000 year old Irish bog oak toggle.
