Hand carved from rare Irish green marble, this stone is rich in mineral serpentine producing a scaly green appearance akin to snake skin. Across many mythologies, snakes are associated with the underworld and transformational cycles of death and rebirth. The shedding of the snake’s skin is mirrored in the opposing faces of the pendant.
This necklace is complete with handmade, naturally stabilised hemp rope cordage and a toggle made of 5000 year old bog oak.
