This pendant is a hand carved piece of marble from the Isle of Skye, Scotland. It is approximately 500 million years old, formed during the Cambrian and Ordovician periods from layers of ancient coral and shell deposits.
Metamorphism: These layers were compressed and heated, creating contrasting hues with serpentine, calcite, and dolomite.
This necklace is complete with handmade, waxed hemp rope cordage and an English oak toggle.
